Vonya Dupuy

Vonya Dupuy holds a bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from Trinity International University where she graduated summa cum laude. She joined Andres Cerritos Law Offices in 2011. Previously, Vonya gathered over 10 years of experience in family based immigration matters while working at local non-profit organizations and other legal offices dedicated to immigration law.

During her 5 years working as an immigration coordinator at a former non-profit organization, she was able to implement a program that helped immigrant domestic violence victims receive legal status and also coordinated citizenship workshops involving more than 100 applicants and numerous volunteers. Through her personal and work experience, Vonya is also bilingual in both Spanish and English.

Vonya was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA and is married to Oscar Dupuy, a native of Panama. They have two children. Vonya is also actively involved in her multi-cultural church in northern Waukegan. Having helped begin the church nine years ago, she now coordinates the church’s service to the surrounding community.
