Information Media Representatives

Information media representatives may apply for an I visa status. Generally speaking, foreign press representatives may apply for such visa status. Importantly, the U.S. Government and the foreign government must have reciprocal agreement. In other words, if a representative from a foreign television station is granted an I visa to enter the United States, a representative from a U.S. press organization must also be granted access to the foreign country.
